Click the Download link to download the installer. After the download completes, follow the installation instructions in the NOTES column.

  1. Unzip the downloaded file.
  2. Double-click SignalMap_install.exe

Advantages

  • Import one or more GFF files. There are no size limitations other than the memory available in your computer.
  • Visualize tracks of data organized into panes and tracks.
  • Easily see peak correlations between your data and annotation tracks using Zoom tools and “Go to” commands.
  • Click on a point on the gene track to link to a Web site with detailed information on the selected gene.
  • Export a subset of your data. Print and export screen captures.

Applications

Where data is mapped to genomic tracks, the SignalMap browser provides a simple browsing interface. Data in GFF file formats can be readily imported and analyzed with no limitations on the number of datapoints. When imported annotation files contain embedded URL information, clicking on genomic features such as genes launches your web browser and directs you to the associated public database information for that gene.
