David S. Snyder Appointed CFO of NimbleGen Systems, Inc.

 

MADISON, WI — August 7, 2006 — NimbleGen Systems, the leading supplier of flexible, high-density DNA microarrays used in the fastest growing markets for genome research, has named David S. Snyder as Chief Financial Officer. 

“NimbleGen’s products achieved remarkable traction in the marketplace last year,” said Mr. Snyder.  “I’m looking forward to applying my experience in building and managing large, entrepreneurial growth companies to the extraordinary technological platform the NimbleGen team has created.”
 
Snyder has over 15 years of experience as a CFO in rapidly growing companies, with one such firm growing to nearly $2 billion in revenue and another growing to nearly $3 billion in assets.  He’s served as CFO for two publicly traded companies and brings extensive experience in capital raising, finance and general management.  His experience spans industries ranging from technology to real estate to diversified manufacturing. In addition to his experience as CFO, Snyder has held positions of corporate strategy and business unit operations.  Snyder graduated from the Harvard Business School with high honors and was designated a Baker Scholar. He received his BA from Ottawa University.
