WI--December 10, 2004-- NimbleGen Systems Inc. announced today
its appointment of RZPD Deutsches Ressourcenzentrum für Genomforschung
GmbH (German Resource Center for Genome Research) as its exclusive
distributor in Germany and Austria. Customers in these countries
will be able to order NimbleGen microarray services directly from
RZPD, whose sales and technical staff will provide support for
NimbleGen's product lines. Using its proprietary Maskless Array
Synthesis (MAS) technology, NimbleGen produces custom high-density
DNA microarrays offered within a complete service that includes
chip design, sample preparation (optional), hybridization, scanning,
data extraction, and preliminary data analysis.
